AKIHIDE IMAMURA
ART DIRECTOR

Born in 1942. In 1965, he presides over SHI戟SO, a group for designers and creators. Active in the fields of both art and design, both domestically and internationally. In 1981, he became a teacher at Tokyo Design Academy. In 2006, after positions as head of the Graphic Design Department and as an advisor in Visual Design, he became Dean of the Tokyo Design Academy. He is currently head of the design department of the "Nikakai" Association of Artists, a member of Salon Dordogne (France), a permanent member of The French Association of Artists (Le Salon), a member of The European Association of Graphic Modeling Arts Writers (Head Office, Paris). He serves as a judge and certified examiner in many art and design related events in addition to the design category of the Nika Exhibition.
