Students learning support system
This program offers reduced tuition costs to our international students.
Eligible students All international students
Amount Part of the entrance fee (50,000 yen) is waived.
International student special student system
This system evaluates active learning in Japan and exempts some of the admission fees for international students who meet the following requirements.
Eligible students-1 Those with an N1 qualification in the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), or with at least 280 points in the Japanese as a Foreign Language Test (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, listening and reading comprehension) of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
Amount Part of the entrance fee (50,000 yen) is waived.
Eligible students-2 Those with an N2 qualification in the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), or with at least 200 points in the Japanese as a Foreign Language Test (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, listening and reading comprehension) of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
Amount Part of the entrance fee (20,000 yen) is waived.
AO Admission Special Scholarship Program
This program supports students who enroll and study at the Academy through AO admission by reducing part of their entrance fee.
Note: This program can be used together with the International Student Scholarship Program.

Entrance Scholarship Program
This program reduces the tuition fees for prospective students who are highly motivated and have clear goals for their future.

- All TDA applicants may apply. Applicants for the Entrance Scholarship are required to submit an Entrance Scholarship application form along with TDA application documents.
- The Entrance Scholarship Program offers designated application periods and selection schedules. For details about the program (including schedules, etc.), check the Entrance Guidebook (Admission Guidelines).
- Selection shall be made through document screening and interviews.
Daily Living Expense Scholarship Program
For students living in TDA-designated dormitories, part of the dormitory entrance fee (300,000 yen) and all the security deposit will be waived.
Note 1: In the event that you leave the dormitory or Academy in the middle of the year, you will be required to return the scholarship money.
Note 2: Other financial aid programs may be applicable to certain international students.
TDA Scholarship Program
This program provides aid for currently-attending students in need of financial support and whose grades and attendance of the previous year were distinguished.
Eligible students Second-year and third-year students
Amount 200,000 yen annually (approximately 30 students)
Selection method Document screening and interviews
Alumni Association Scholarship Program
The Alumni Association offers this scholarship to students requiring financial aid for study, and who are willing to assist with the development of the Alumni Association after graduation.
Application qualifications 1. Second-year and third-year students (Graduation year only) 2. Students who are willing to become members of the Alumni Association and contribute to its development after graduation 3. Students requiring financial support and not under any other scholarships
Amount 120,000 yen annually (about three students)

Public Scholarship Programs
Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students
Eligible students Personally-financed international students currently studying at TDA who have shown academic/character excellence and require financial support
Amount 48,000 yen monthly
Selection method Nominees are selected within TDA and recommended to the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO).
Kyoritsu International Foundation Scholarship
Eligible students Personally-financed students from Asian countries who have shown academic/character excellence and require financial support
Amount 100,000 yen monthly (for two years from enrollment), or 60,000 yen monthly (for one year from enrollment)
Selection method Nominees are selected within TDA and recommended to the Kyoritsu International Foundation.
